Lightweight at just under 250 gr., the amPlug 2 Cabinet from VOX is a miniature, 1x3" 2W amplifier. It is intended for use with VOX's line of amPlug 2 Headphone Amplifiers, and is a suitable speaker for table-top applications. Indeed, if you're tired of looping the sound into your ears from your amPlug 2, you can hear the tone reverberate throughout your room by routing the headphone amplifier's output to this cabinet's AUX input with a 3.5mm connector cable. You can also use the AUX input to connect an external audio source and jam along with your favorite tracks. In addition, the amPlug 2 Cabinet can function as a stand-alone mini amp by using its 1/4" instrument input jack to plug your guitar or bass straight into the cab. The unit runs off a single 9V battery, which is included, and there's also a port for a 9 VDC power adapter, which is available separately.
