SCHERTLER’s DYN P48 series contact microphones are high-end transducers designed for professional applications. Suitable for use on a variety of instruments in both live/amplified and studio environments, these fully-balanced, active, dynamic contact microphones can be safely applied to even the most valuable of instruments using the special adhesive putty provided. The microphones can be quickly transferred between instruments during performances or recording sessions. Once in place, their lightweight design makes them unobtrusive to the performer.
A balanced XLR connector enables direct connection to a microphone input on a mixing console, or a full range amplification system. (Note: these contact microphones require 22-48V phantom power, with the exception of the passive DYN UNI.) The torsion-resistant, Kevlar-reinforced cable is designed to withstand the rigors of daily use while delivering best possible performance results.

Although Billy Sheehan has always loved the sound of DiMarzio bass pickups, his playing style inspired him to modify the exteriors. Billy used to build them up with epoxy to round off the sharp edges.
Designed with Billy, we removed all the right angled edges from a standard P Bass pair, curved the tops to match the fingerboard/string radius, and changed the mounting to a robust 1/8” circuit board that eliminates protruding mounting screws.
Relentless™ pickups produce 50 percent more output than traditional passive pickups, and they’re drop dead quiet — with virtually no electromagnetic interference. We’ve expanded the midrange punch, adding snappy highs and precise lows.
These pickups have a broad magnetic field so you can even bend notes without volume drop out.

The dual-blade continuous magnetic field creates an even string balance with very little magnet-pull, eliminating the “out-of-tuneness” common to rod-magnet designs. For nearly 30 years, the DiMarzio® X2N® has been the top choice for all-out power. In the last couple of years, we've developed totally new ways to combine power with clarity, which first resulted in the D Activator™. Now we bring you the D Activator-X™ Bridge model. It features the same striking look as the X2N®, but we've adjusted the output and tuned the coils to different frequencies to create a powerful sound wide open with a surprisingly clean sound when the volume control is rolled down, even with extreme metal and high-gain amps.
